I’m back with another cool experiment that kids love. Well I sure do. My mom and I have been having a blast doing these experiments.
Today we are making some cool lava lamps. This is one of my favorite experiments so far. I think it’s because it’s very colorful and It seemed so cool. My friends were super excited to try this at home and you should to.
WHAT YOU NEED:
- Clear glass containers
- Water
- Oil
- Food Coloring
- Alka Seltzer
HOW TO MAKE THE LAVA LAMPS:
- Fill your glass container with 1/4 water
- Add some oil (more oil than water)
- Add 10 drops of food coloring. We did four lamps so each glass had it’s own colors.
- Drop one Alka Seltzer tablet into each container and watch the magic.
